Great video! Lovely Filo. I have a personal Malden which I love. :-) I love how you put the Martha Stewart tabs in the business card holder. What did you use for the alphabetical dividers? I noticed you only have one letter to a tab, so I'm thinking if you used the Filofax address tabs you wouldn't have enough dividers, since they use 2 letters per tab? Unless you had extras laying around?
Great job! Very inspiring. And yes, you've bought a LOT of Filos!!! LOL
Thanks for your lovely comments, Steve,I will e-mail you tomorrow and thanks.
Songbird, the tabs are the A-Z filofax tabs, I used 2 sets and just put some letter stickers I got from Rymans, over the tabs, so I have a single letter per tab.
Gail, I just put my last video in the side bar - Go to 'blogger layout' and then 'add a gadget'
Go to the vid on youtube and click share 'under the video', and then embed - You'll see the embed code --> go down to custom and made it as wide as your sidebar - try 300 and go up or down if its not the right size
copy the code. When you add a gadget options will come up - pick 'HTML/JavaScript Add third-party functionality or other code to your blog. '
paste the code there and a title if you want and click save . That should be it!
Tracy you are a star, thanks ever so much for telling me how to add the Vids. I was trying to add a video gadget and not the HTML/JavaScript one. I wasn't using the embed code either, I would never have worked that out on my own. lol Thanks again x
HI Gail - I loved your video. Can you share how you did your month pages with the notes on the other side - the ones where the month is sticking out and you wrap it around the week pages?
Lovely! You've inspired me to get serious about what to use the gorgeous A5's I have sitting on my shelf not currently being used. I love the Martha Stewart tabs and I can't believe I didn't think to keep them in the business card holder. I mean really. LOL That's why I love these videos...they wake up the brain and inspire!! An A5 Malden is now on my wish list!
Hi Gail
ReplyDeleteEmail me and I will let you know how to embed videos in the side bar.
Steve
The magnets are definately worth it...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely review :). Tried to get the magnets online but they were looking for £5 for postage. Eh whit?

DeleteGail, that you for the compliment! Reading that this morning made my day! Most of the things I add to blogger I add that way - it's just easier.

You're most welcome hun. x
DeleteI love that about Filofax users, they are so eager and keen to freely, help others. x
