Regency Filofax

Look what arrived this morning in the post...... a Filofax Personal Regency in Brown.  How beautiful is she!

Some inserts along with it!

Inside, a brown ruler...never seen these before!

The inside is very similar to the Holborn, with its vertical side pockets on either side of the credit card slots. (A feature that I love in a Filofax!)

Touch wood!  The 23mm rings seem to be in top condition too!  It's lying quite flat when the pages are open up on it.

The contents are on Cotton Cream Paper, it has a far more superior quality to it.
A week on 2 pages.....in lots of languages....takes up a bit of writing space though.

Lined and plain paper:

Lined Alphabet tabs:

To Do Sheets:

Another three pockets are at the back with an elasticated pen loop.  I've inserted some bits to show exactly where these pockets are!

Just look at that Italian leather, it smells great and feels fantastic.  The little bumps remind me of the Ostrich (The only Filofax left on my wish list now! lol)

I ADORE this Filofax and it come as a big surprise to me, that it has the internal vertical pockets like my Holborn.  I never thought I would be swayed away from my Holborns but this one has done it!

Thanks for reading, leave me a comment if you could!

  1. Congrats on your new arrival! I love the Regency also! I'm backwards in this; since I own the Regency (both brown and black in compact size and personal size :) I keep thinking about the Holborn in wine!

  2. I have 4 Holborns, A5 Black, A5 Zipped Wine, Personal black and Wine. I did have the Personal zipped wine, but returned it as I didn't like it as much. The Holborns are very beautiful and the leather is amazing, but I must admit, the Regency wins for me. How does the leather on the Regency wear with use?

  3. I ordered this but couldn't justify the cost and sent it back, i'd have been gutted if it developed ring issues and right now that seems likely, i'm still in love with my Holborn's too much I think, and I got a compact and personal for less than the price of the Regency so i'm happy :-)

    1. I know what you mean Alison, if this develops ring issues, I would send it back, must admit, Filofax have always been very good in sorting out any problems I've had!

  4. I actually don't have it that long :) The leather will wear great, i guess. Rings are fine too!! I'd never go for a zipped FF. Still thinking of the personal in wine, though. I might get it from Ling. She agreed to sell to me :)
How is the Holborn in black?

    1. I don't like Zipped Filofaxs, I do have the A5 Zipped Holborn and that isn't too bad I guess, but I don't think I would ever buy another. I also have the Personal Cuban zipped, I wanted it because of the 30mm rings, but I have never user it, just hate the zip. The Holborn in black is lush, been using mine almost a year now, I just don't want to move out of it...but I will for the Regency. Out of all the Holborn colours, I like Black the best.

  8. I'm looking forward to using this one too Helen, I have only seen blog posts on the Regency compact and never on the personal size. I don't think I would manage in a compact though.
